Some schools have sounds of pages turning and professors lecturing but Dunwoody College of Technology’s halls are filled with the sounds of robots whirring and sparks flying. We decided to embrace that for this campaign.

Concepted and ideated at Periscope with

Laura Panthofer and Bridget Jewell

30 second spot “The Sounds of Dunwoody“ that uses the sounds of the school to create a really cool backing track.

Fun fact - Luke Sullivan (Hey Whipple, Squeeze This!) said that he did the best radio work of his career for Dunwoody. Thank God they asked for a TV spot so I didn’t have to beat it.

The client wanted a video to lead people to their open houses. We had the idea that a student spokesperson was fine for a traditional college but Dunwoody deserved better. Good thing they had a robot lying around.

Note: directing a robot is way easier than directing actors.

We even convinced the clients to find money in the budget for a Dunwoody Doer Type personality quiz that now lives onsite.
